Hintok River Camp @ Hellfire Pass is an exceptionally safari tented camp stunningly located on a historical piece of land upon the pinnacle of Hintok mountain in Kanchanaburi, Thailand where the historical river, River Kwai runs through.

Only about 2 hours away from Bangkok, we offer you a new style of relaxation while being close to the rhythm of nature with twenty-two spaciously deluxe canvas tents, featuring private bathrooms and outdoor showers with hot water, air-conditioning, private veranda and luxury furniture.

“Hintok” is named after the area where the camp is located. Local people call “Hin-tok” (meaning “falling rock”) due to this particular area provides a great view of River Kwai River upon a cliff over the great river.

The safari tented camp is by far the best choice to explore the tropical nature along with the memorable WW2 historical site. There is nothing to compare with staying in a luxurious tented camp in a beautiful setting with the sights and sounds of nature surrounded.

09.00 hrs.	Visit to War Museum (Thailand-Burma Railway Centre), War Cemetery and Bridge over the River Kwai.
12.00 hrs.	Arrive in HinTok River Camp, check-in on arrival. Lunch will be served.
14.00 hrs.	Visit to the Hell Fire Pass Memorial and enjoy walking tour on Trails of Death Railway at Hell Fire Pass to HinTok Station. Then continue to Tented Camp. Late afternoon get on a mountain bike for visiting to a village or Farm where is near by the camp, and we can experience to a basket weaving with villagers.

06.00 hrs.	Early morning walking or biking to the temple to make merit by putting food into the bowl of a mendicant Buddhist priest.

07.00 hrs.	Hearty American Breakfast.
09.00 hrs.	Check-out and Take a long-tailed boat from pier to get to the River Kwai Jungle Rafts, passing by unspoiled mountainous jungle scenery. Visit to the nearby ethnic Mon Tribal Village (Optional tour: Elephant Riding through the bamboo forest)


11.30 hrs.	Depart for lunch at pier.
